Children's Behavioral Health Services offers programs in Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, Lehigh, Northampton, and Philadelphia Counties that serve children and adolescents, ages 2 through 21, with social, emotional, and behavioral challenges. We are committed to providing comprehensive community-based services through education, intervention, and the identification of resources to empower children and adolescents to develop to their full potential. Because we see each child as an individual, we are able to offer collaborative, family-oriented solutions rooted in recovery and resiliency principles. The Behavioral Consultant, in collaboration with the family and other members of the treatment team, designs and directs the implementation of a resiliency plan which is individualized to each child's and family's needs. This role requires maintaining regular contact with caregivers and team members to monitor the implementation of the resiliency plan, facilitating meetings to review progress, and ensuring compliance with relevant principles and guidelines. The consultant is also responsible for completing various documentation, providing clinical supervision to team members, and performing necessary procedures as per agency protocols. The position demands a strong commitment to the principles of Recovery and Resiliency, cultural competency, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. The Behavioral Consultant must demonstrate excellent judgment, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, the role requires proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
