This is a Student Assistant position within a public university. The employee is responsible for First- and Second-Year Experience Office operations and reports to the Director for First- & Second-Year Experience. This position is responsible for assisting with special events within the Student Success Center including, but not limited to: Gamecock Orientation, Freshman Convocation, Freshman Forum, Lambda Sigma Sophomore Honor Society, and marketing for the First- & Second-Year Experience Office. Work is assigned with general instructions from the Director for First- & Second-Year Experience and reviewed for effectiveness and adherence to office and departmental goals.
