About The Position

The University Store has multiple summer positions available for Summer University Store Assistants. Requirements

• Familiarity with office setting, ability to use personal computer, and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and other Microsoft Office products is required.
• Must be able to understand and follow oral and written directions.
• Must have good organizational skills and be an effective communicator.
• Must be able to multi-task, prioritize, and work independently.
• Must maintain professional appearance and demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with customers by providing assistance on the sales floor, answering the telephone, fulfilling website orders and checking guest out via the cash register.
• Assists with store inventory process.
• Assists with receiving merchandise and textbooks.
• Provides detailed cleaning of the store and storage areas.
• Other related duties as assigned.
