About The Position

Grant Thornton is seeking a University Recruiting Senior Associate in Chicago, IL. Join a dynamic team of University Recruiting leaders responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring high quality, diverse, intern and entry level talent. As a University Recruiting Senior Associate you will build strategy and execute programming in support of Grant Thornton’s university recruiting strategy. Professional services recruiting is challenging, high volume, fast-paced and best in class. The idea candidate is innovative, collaborative and demonstrates strong project management skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Accounting or related major
  • Minimum three years of experience in university recruiting, career services/higher education, or professional services consulting
  • Ability to establish priorities, manage deadlines, exercise a high degree of professionalism in interactions with all levels of internal and external clients
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-location environment.
  • Flexibility with hours; ability to work overtime and evenings as needed
  • Ability to travel during peak recruiting season is required (once business assumes normal operations)
  • Strong project management and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate campus recruiting activities that include communications, campus programming, and interviewing.
  • Drive all relevant recruiting activities such as presentations, career fairs, in–office and campus interviews, and offers.
  • Project Manage and Execute campus programs (Early ID, Internship) at a local, regional, and national level.
  • Build Grant Thornton brand on-campus and maintain relationships with students, faculty, career services.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for candidates throughout the recruiting and into the onboarding process.
  • Promote candidate communications and relationship management by creating and fostering high touch, one-on-one relationships with top candidates.
  • Build strong relationships with leadership and campus partner champions in the office.
  • Train and mentor junior members of the recruiting team.
  • Work with business partners and campus teams to execute campus strategy to promote Grant Thornton’s brand and reputation at assigned universities.
  • Attract and screen candidates based on skill set and relevant area of the business.
  • Develop, expand, and support diversity recruiting efforts across targeted offices and campuses.
  • Create and Execute Campus Recruiting Strategy for assigned universities and offices using data driven metrics and results.
  • Work with Partners and Internal Stakeholders to develop hiring goals and campus recruiting strategy to fill intern and entry level needs.
