Requirements

• Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of experience in a direct customer service position.
• Outstanding verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer-focus and problem-solving skills.
• Pleasant, outgoing demeanor with superior phone skills.
• Excellent judgment and proactive manner.
• Ability to work any shift during hours of operation, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and handle interruptions.
• Knowledge and ability to operate a computer.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a world-class first impression for patients and guests.
• Provide a welcoming interaction through a warm, professional demeanor.
• Serve as the primary contact for patients, visitors, and staff, listening attentively and providing clear information.
• Disseminate information in person and by phone, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
• Display exceptional interpersonal skills and empathy, especially for individuals in crisis.
• Identify and report service improvement opportunities in the area.
• Utilize critical thinking and service recovery skills to manage disruptions.
• Stay current with programs, processes, personnel, and accomplishments at University Health.
• Act as an ambassador for University Health, proactively sharing information with guests.
• Engage in special projects and be open to additional duties as needed.
