About The Position

Universal Logistics is seeking a Class A CDL Switcher for yard switching operations in Smyrna, TN. This position involves working the 3rd shift, starting at 8:30 PM and ending at 7 AM, with a focus on efficient yard management and vehicle handling.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid Class A CDL.
• 3-6 months of recent switching experience is required.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
• No more than 2 preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• No DUI/OWI in the last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Perform yard switching duties using a Class A CDL vehicle.
• Ensure safe and efficient movement of trailers and containers within the yard.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle movements and yard inventory.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
