The Universal Pre-K Teacher plays a vital role in providing a high-quality early childhood education experience for young children! They collaborate with program managers, administrative staff, and the Syracuse City School District to implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum.

Requirements

• New York State (NYS) Teaching Certification in Early Childhood Education
• A two-year degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred for Teacher Assistant
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• At least one year of experience working with children and families
• Background check required
• NYS registry clearance required
• Proficiency in using computer applications and technology
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Strong classroom management skills

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in early childhood teaching
