Requirements

• Associate's Degree and one to three years residential or consumer lending experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Dependable, reliable and has demonstrated ability to work within a regulatory environment

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and pre-underwriting mortgage and HELOC loan files for accuracy and completeness
• Gathering, organizing, and validating required documentation within regulatory timelines
• Serving as a primary communication link between borrowers, loan originators, and attorneys
• Monitoring loan pipelines to ensure deadlines and compliance requirements are met
• Preparing and coordinating compliant closing disclosures and closing packages
• Processing loan application fees and assisting borrowers with rate lock process
• Ordering and following up on the receipt of tax transcripts, title order, flood determination, completed appraisal, verification of employment and homeowner’s insurance
• Providing proactive, professional and courteous customer service at every stage of the loan process
