The Universal Branch Associate at Texas Trust Credit Union is responsible for meeting members' financial needs while achieving individual and organizational goals. This role involves solving member problems, handling cash operations, and providing exceptional service across a range of financial products. The associate will actively promote and sell the credit union's services, assist with account management, and ensure compliance with regulations.

  • Satisfy members' financial needs while meeting individual, department, and organization goals.
  • Solve member problems and resolve transaction issues.
  • Perform all cash operation functions with high accuracy in financial transactions.
  • Generate and close high-quality leads across the product range while providing world-class service.
  • Assist members with requests for service in cash operation and financial services.
  • Promote and sell the Credit Union's full line of financial services in person.
  • Process and complete all account openings and closings, including various account types.
  • Promote and sell credit life, credit disability, and other ancillary loan products.
  • Refer members to other lines of business as needed, such as Investments and Insurance.
  • Greet members with the Texas Trust Way greeting.
  • Perform member transactions such as adding/removing joint owners and issuing stop payments.
  • Complete and process member fraud requests timely.
  • Notarize documents as needed.
  • Assist the Manager in Teller operations, including assigning work and solving problems.
  • Serve as vault teller, maintaining vault security and balancing cash as required.
  • Embody Texas Trust Core Values and promote a collaborative environment.
  • Six months experience as a Teller or one year experience with cash handling.
  • General knowledge of Windows OS and MS Office software is required.
  • High School Diploma/GED is required.
  • Minimum two years of college coursework or equivalent work experience.
  • One year or more experience in a high-paced sales environment with a track record of meeting/exceeding goals.
  • Six months customer service experience is required.
  • High comfort level in utilizing computers.
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
  • Ability to recognize and proactively seek sales opportunities to meet set goals.
  • Demonstrate problem-solving and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to manage difficult situations with little supervision.
  • Must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Required to handle all member information confidentially.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a business field preferred.
  • Multilingual verbal and written skills preferred.
