About The Position

A Universal Banking Specialist is the liaison between the Bank and its current and potential customers. A Universal Banking Specialist is responsible for all service activities and duties. From greeting customers to effectively solving customer concerns, complaints, and inquiries. The employee will identify the customers' needs by answering questions, offering assistance in lending options, and will provide product and service information. While working in the call center, a Universal Banking Specialist must manage large volumes of calls in a timely manner. Employee will open accounts, process loan payments; process deposits, cash checks, and offer customer service solutions in a non-customer facing environment. A Universal Banking Specialist must maintain a professional attitude with sincerity and enthusiasm, reflecting the Bank's commitment to our customers. Employee should have a strong understanding of all bank product features and functionality. Employee should also have a thorough knowledge of current bank policies and procedures as well as Federal and State laws and regulations. In addition, the position has backup duties assisting the bank's bookkeeping department.

  • Previous banking experience or business development or retail experience preferred.
