About The Position

The Universal Banker at Nicolet National Bank is responsible for providing exceptional customer service by completing transactions, cross-selling products, and resolving customer issues. This role serves as a vital link between the bank and its customers, ensuring satisfaction and promoting the bank's services while adhering to banking regulations and security practices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in banking or customer service preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle cash and perform basic math calculations accurately.
• Knowledge of banking regulations and security procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform teller duties and organize, balance, and proof cash daily to maintain accurate transactions.
• Perform back-up personal banker duties, including opening accounts and resolving account-related problems.
• Attract and retain customer relationships by providing timely and accurate customer service.
• Stay current on banking regulations and security procedures to prevent fraud and comply with requirements.
• Answer customer telephone inquiries promptly and professionally, providing accurate information.
• Assist with night depository duties, including logging bags and processing deposits.
• Promote Nicolet products and services by identifying customer needs and suggesting appropriate solutions.
• Engage in community events to promote Nicolet products and services to existing and prospective customers.
• Maintain the vault, including daily balancing and ordering cash for the branch.
• Maintain inventory of traveler's checks, cashier's checks, and gift cards.
