About The Position

Affinity FCU is seeking an experienced, results-oriented, and service-focused individual to join their team at a branch location in Bardonia, NY. The role of a Financial Services Consultant (Universal Banker) involves delivering an exceptional member experience, building and deepening relationships, and helping consumer and small business members achieve financial success. This includes engaging members in conversation to understand their needs, determining suitable products, services, and digital options, opening new accounts, enrolling members in digital solutions, processing applications, resolving complex member issues, and following up to ensure satisfaction and improve financial well-being. The successful candidate must be technologically savvy, especially with self-service options, stay updated on evolving consumer needs and trends, adapt to new environments, and demonstrate a commitment to the community, member engagement, and Affinity’s corporate objectives.

Requirements

  • 3 - 5 years banking experience in a platform role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Previous sales experience
  • Technologically savvy, especially as it relates to self-service options
  • Keeps abreast of evolving consumer needs and trends
  • Adapts well to new or non-traditional environments
  • Display a commitment to the community, to increasing member engagement and to Affinity’s corporate objectives

Nice To Haves

  • Prior CRM experience, preferably Salesforce
