The Universal Banker position involves providing timely and efficient completion of client transactions, maintaining accurate records, and handling all assigned monies properly. The role focuses on delivering superior quality service by identifying and understanding clients' financial needs. Universal Bankers are cross-trained to support sales and service activities, with a particular emphasis on assisting with outbound calling and supporting Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) activities. This role ensures a consistent service level by engaging clients, facilitating courteous conversation, and conducting both complex and standardized transactions while uncovering needs. It also involves educating clients on digital, self-service solutions like ATMs, Online, and Mobile banking to enhance their service experience. The position supports the team sales process through client outreach, identifying client needs, and referring them to appropriate branch team members or specialists. Adherence to internal controls, operational procedures, and risk management policies is crucial, along with continuous learning to advance individual and product knowledge. Universal Bankers also serve as a secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution, offering applicable products and services to clients and prospects, handling a proportionate volume of work based on branch demands.
