About The Position

As a Universal Banker you would be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, opening new accounts, and processing a variety of teller transactions. You would also play a key role in educating customers about Rio Bank's products and services and making recommendations that meet their needs.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
One (1) or more years of experience in a customer service role
Two (2) years cash handling experience in a financial institution or combination of education and experience
Excellent customer service skills
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Ability to make effective decisions under pressure
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Valid driver's license

Nice To Haves

Working knowledge of banking rules and regulations
Bilingual (English/Spanish) ability

Responsibilities

Provide a high level of customer service to our customers
Process a variety of retail and commercial transactions such as deposits, withdrawals and check cashing
Balance cash drawer daily
Assist in ordering, receiving, verifying, and distributing cash
Open and close accounts and perform account maintenance
Process check orders, debit cards, wire transfers, and stop payments.
Promote the bank's products and services
Answer customer inquiries in a helpful manner and refer customers to to other departments as needed
Process ATM, Debit and ACH disputes
Adhere to all bank policies and procedures
Maintain a good record of attendance and punctuality
