About The Position

The Universal Banker at Pearlridge Branch is responsible for performing sales, servicing, and operational functions within the branch. This role involves managing a portfolio of High Value Clients (HVC), identifying customer banking needs, and cross-selling bank products and services. The Universal Banker will also participate in branch management activities, open various deposit and loan products, and ensure alignment with the company's core values.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required for UB I; Bachelor's Degree for UB II with relevant work experience as a substitute.
• 1+ year(s) of demonstrated success in sales and customer service for UB I; 2+ years for UB II.
• 1+ year(s) of branch operations experience or successful completion of teller and new account certification within 6 months of hire for UB I; 1+ year(s) of experience explaining credit products for UB II.
• Registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System & Registry (NMLS) is required for Mortgage Loan Originator duties.

Nice To Haves

• Notary Public commission preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing an assigned portfolio of High Value Clients (HVC) to build and retain customer relationships.
• Identify potential customer banking needs and cross-sell other bank products and services.
• Meet assigned operational, cross-sale, and referral goals.
• Open all types of consumer and business deposit and loan products.
• Accept and close secured and unsecured consumer loan and personal lines of credit applications.
• Participate in ongoing coaching and development activities with the branch management team.
• Analyze tax returns and financial statements.
• Participate in branch or bank-wide campaigns.
• Actively cross-sell and refer customers to appropriate business partners.
• Achieve individual and branch goals related to deposit, loan, and portfolio growth.
