The Universal Banker specializes in the branch customer experience through sales, service, and digital engagement for Consumer and Business Banking customers. This role supports daily branch operations as a Teller and addresses customer service and sales needs as required by the assigned branch. The position involves holding scheduled and walk-in customer appointments to identify needs and referring complex issues to appropriate partners. A Float Universal Banker will frequently travel to different branches within a designated area to assist staff as needed. The role is responsible for providing exceptional service, resolving customer problems promptly, and is a key driver of sales and customer experience within the branch. It requires interaction with various bank departments to resolve operational issues efficiently. The jobholder must demonstrate empathy, customer centricity, flexibility, adaptability, digital fluency, entrepreneurial spirit, and critical thinking. The position functions in multiple capacities, adapting to all banking needs including new account opening, loan origination, problem resolution, video conferencing, and transaction processing.
