About The Position

The Universal Associate II (New Accounts/Teller) is responsible for providing timely and courteous customer service, processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently, and exemplifying FCCB’s standard of exceptional customer service. This role involves assessing customer financial needs, suggesting bank services and products, and actively participating in sales culture and referral programs. Key duties include maintaining daily transactions and balances, researching outages, balancing the drawer, and ensuring compliance with banking regulations. The Universal Associate II identifies customer needs, develops solutions, and interacts constructively with co-workers. Specific responsibilities for this level include processing transactions, handling cash, vault, and ATM responsibilities, opening and maintaining deposit accounts for consumers and businesses, completing necessary customer account maintenance, maintaining IRA/SEP files, performing operational duties and data input, and processing deceased and estate accounts. The position requires understanding various operational procedures and demonstrating good analytical and decision-making skills.

Requirements

  • Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite and related program software
  • Ability to quickly learn position-related software
  • Ability to effectively use general office equipment
  • High school diploma or equivalent educational experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide timely and courteous customer service
  • Process customer transactions in a professional, accurate, and efficient manner

  • Assess customer's financial needs and suggest Bank services and products
  • Actively participate in and promote the Bank’s sales culture and referral programs
  • Maintain daily transactions and balances, research outages, and balance the drawer in an accurate and timely manner
  • Follow proper procedures and complete tasks in compliance with banking regulations
  • Identify customer needs and develop solutions to exceed customer goals and expectations
  • Constructively interact with co-workers
  • Process transactions and handle cash, vault, ATM responsibilities, etc.
  • Open and maintain deposit accounts for consumers and businesses
  • Complete all necessary maintenance on customer accounts
  • Maintain IRA/SEP files
  • Perform a variety of operational duties and data input functions
  • Process deceased and estate accounts
  • Understand a variety of operational procedures
  • Demonstrate good analytical and decision-making skills
