The Universal Ambassador at Altaone Federal Credit Union plays a crucial role in assisting members with a wide variety of financial services. This position is designed to help members effectively utilize the company's products and services to meet their personal financial goals while providing the highest quality customer service. The Universal Ambassador will be responsible for opening new accounts, processing necessary information, and educating members about the various services and products available to them, such as Visa check cards, online banking, and automated teller services. In addition to account management, the Universal Ambassador will explain and expedite the opening, closing, transfer, and rollover of IRA certificates. The role also includes assisting with a wide range of customer services, including managing Shared Certificates, maintaining Safe Deposit Boxes, processing credit card and loan applications, managing outgoing wires, and resolving fraud issues. The ambassador will also provide backup support to tellers as needed and will be responsible for setting up auto transfers and signing up customers for ACH transfers and wires. Every member interaction is seen as an opportunity to advise them about additional services or programs that could benefit them. Compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as applicable laws and regulations, is essential, including adherence to the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control. This position requires a high level of interpersonal skills, courtesy, tact, and diplomacy, as it involves personal contact with others both inside and outside the organization.
