About The Position

The MUSC Division of Nephrology is looking to hire a research-focused faculty member who has significant experience with mechanisms of hypertension and/or polycystic kidney disease for a full-time position at MUSC. The successful M.D. and/or Ph.D. candidate will have made significant basic science and/or translational discoveries in these renal fields and should have NIH funding.

Requirements

• M.D. and/or Ph.D. in a relevant field.
• Significant experience in hypertension and/or polycystic kidney disease.
• Demonstrated record of basic science and/or translational discoveries.
• Experience with NIH funding.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research focused on mechanisms of hypertension and/or polycystic kidney disease.
• Make significant basic science and/or translational discoveries in renal fields.
• Secure NIH funding for research projects.
