The Medical University of South Carolina, Department of Otolaryngology, invites applications for a full-time, audiologist focusing on cochlear implants. Candidates must possess a doctoral degree (AuD and/or PhD), clinical and academic experience with cochlear implants and appropriate certification and licensure. MUSC provides care for more than 2000 patients with cochlear implants, and we implant more than 200 devices yearly. In addition, we have very active, NIH-funded hearing and cochlear implant research programs. The Department of Otolaryngology includes six Otologists, six Pediatric Otolaryngologists and 23 audiologists. Cochlear implant services are provided at the main campus of MUSC in downtown Charleston as well as satellite locations.
