The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) Department of Neurology seeks a qualified individual to join its Division of Cognitive and Behavioral Neurology. Successful applicants should possess excellent clinical skills and have experience in teaching fellows, residents, and students. Research experience in clinical trials, imaging, cognitive neuroscience, dementia/Alzheimer's disease, or other related areas is essential. Board certification in general neurology is required. Behavioral Neurology & Neuropsychiatry Certification is a plus. The selected candidate will join a growing team with the newly formed South Carolina Alzheimer's Network (SCAN). SCAN is a multi-site clinical program at MUSC Health designed to provide patients with an early and accurate diagnosis and treatment plan, longitudinal co-management with primary care, access to the new Alzheimer's disease medications, and access to the latest research. The newly formed clinical SCAN team consists of 3 APPs, 2 Dementia Care Social Workers, Psychometrists, Dementia care Schedulers, and multiple partnerships and collaborations with Primary Care, Behavioral Psychiatry, and Geriatric Psychiatry.
