About The Position

Germantown Emergency Center seeks to hire a Unit Support Coordinator who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing. As a Unit Support Coordinator you will: Support departmental operations by providing effective and timely communications, maintaining a clean, safe and orderly work environment, maintaining data and related records, and by performing clerical and other support services as directed. Responsible for processing physician orders, communication, and other general duties.

Requirements

  • High school diploma / GED required
  • At least 6 months experience working in a hospital or doctor's office required
  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology required.
  • Proficient in PC, Internet and email required.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills required

Nice To Haves

  • Training in data entry of clinical systems strongly preferred.
