Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, provides clerical support for assigned nursing unit or department. In doing so, transcribes physicians’ orders and enters into computer, schedules diagnostic tests and therapies for patients; assembles and maintains patients’ charts, answers telephone and intercom calls; provides routine information and relays calls and messages.
