About The Position

Unit Secretary - PRN - Rotating Shifts - Emergency Dept - Sacred Heart Hospital, Lavonia, GA Sacred Heart is looking for an experienced and compassionate Unit Secretary to work within the Emergency department. What you will do: The Unit Secretary supports the assigned unit by facilitating communication with patients, staff, physicians, visitors and ancillary departments. The Unit Secretary directs incoming calls and responds to patient calls. The Unit Secretary enters physician’s orders in the Information System. The Unit Secretary maintains patient’s charts, unit files and secretarial supply levels. The Unit Secretary is responsible for maintaining a safe and orderly environment. What you will need: Licensure/Certification/Registration: BLS, thru American Heart Association, required at time of hire. Education: Must be a high school graduate or have GED equivalent. Requirements
