About The Position

VCBR is currently recruiting for a Unit Secretary to provide office services
support for financial services and operations. The Unit Secretary will provide
one to one support for the residents daily by offering administrative and office
services.

Requirements

• Experience with basic bookkeeping/fiscal principles and practices related to maintaining a checkbook type record for patients required.
• Experience with office practices and procedures and maintenance of patient financial records required.
• Working knowledge of standard English grammar, punctuation and usage, and proper spelling required.
• Experience in an employment setting in typing and current office equipment and systems such as personal computer and software including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint which are currently being used required.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret and follow oral and written rules and regulations and maintain harmonious working relations.
• Considerable walking and/or standing, sitting, bending, lifting, visual acuity to work with computer monitors and printouts, and dexterity with hands to use computer keyboard.
• This position requires substantial resident interaction on a daily basis
