Mother Baby Department highlights: 62 bed unit Self-Scheduling that helps with work/life balance as well as opportunities for educational and career growth Unit with great resources to provide the best patient care possible. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Possesses organizational skills to function in a fast-paced work environment, positive interpersonal skills, and good verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year of healthcare experience strongly preferred.
  • Previous Unit Secretary, Patient Care Technician, or Patient Access experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Performs all tasks to meet the needs of physicians, staff, patient, and other customers.
  • Uses Professional Practice Model philosophy to work in partnership with patients, families, physicians, peers and all other disciplines.
  • Serves as a patient advocate.
  • Assists in the identification of ineffective and costly processes and takes action to improve them.
