Performs clerical duties for the unit including charting, filing, and transcription of orders. Coordinates unit communications such as telephone, patient, visitor, ancillary departments and physician staff. Involves use of computer. Assists in maintaining a well-organized and functional unit. Performance expectations are defined in the competency evaluation.
