About The Position

The Unit Secretary performs a variety of clerical tasks involved in preparing, maintaining and processing patient and unit activities, data and records. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Able to perform daily activities with minimal supervision.
  • Self directed in the accomplishment of routine activities.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience setting up and maintaining office system (organizational skills)
  • Previous experience with medical insurance, MIS, and medical terminology
  • Previous experience in a health care setting
  • Previous experience with Microsoft Office software
  • Previous experience with use of EMR
  • Completion of a Medical Terminology course
