Scope of work The Unit Secretary coordinates the non-clinical aspects of patient care by managing communication and clerical tasks essential to the functioning of the unit. About this unit This seventy-two bed PCU practices patient and family centered care. The unit acuity level of patients is progressive care. Our unit consists of initiative-taking, skilled Nurses, Nursing Assistants, and Telemetry Technicians working together as a Team. FH PCU cares for a wide variety of critically ill patients who require cardiac drips with need for titration, ventilated patients, and those that require a higher level of supportive care. Requirements
- Required High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of relevant experience
Nice To Haves
- Preferred Specialized Unit Secretary/Health Unit Coordinator training
- Clerical and/or customer service experience Preferred
