Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • BLS Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
  • Previous customer service and secretarial experience preferred.
  • Advanced computer skills preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of PC based computer skills, i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and/or similar systems preferred.
  • General knowledge of legal procedures/practices.
  • Spelling, grammar, and verbal communication and written composition skills.
  • Customer service skills.

Responsibilities

  • Organizes and manages the department activities.
  • Oversees office supply inventory, room utilization, and audio/visual equipment utilization.
  • Provides clerical support for the Vice President of Regulatory Affairs and Director of Risk Management & Safety.
  • Coordinates special projects as assigned.
  • Interacts with physicians, hospital directors, other hospital executives, as well as employees, patients and families.
  • Assists in the completion of department assignments.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor when needed.
