Sodexo Energy & Resources is seeking a qualified Unit Safety Manager 3 to drive a safety culture for a Corporate Real Estate and Facilities Management client in El Segundo, CA. From restaurants to delivery options, to streamlined operations and cutting-edge technology, Sodexo creates a safe, vibrant, and eco-friendly workplace. Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and local regulations for occupational health, safety, and environmental hazards (e.g., Hazardous Energy, Confined Space, Asbestos, Lead, Fall Prevention, etc.), and review unit-specific policies and procedures. Train staff, oversee work, evaluate potential hazards proactively, and implement safety communications and reporting protocols. Conduct audits, recommend and manage safety devices and equipment to protect employees and mitigate risks, and analyze chemical exposure to improve sustainability. Measure the effectiveness of HS&E strategies, track accident trends, and produce progress reports to meet division objectives. Serve as a liaison to external regulatory bodies, guide safety management and accident prevention, and support HS&E inspections and investigations.
