What This Role Will Deliver This role enhances sitewide safety performance by embedding proactive, prevention‑focused practices into daily operations. The Unit Safety Manager 3 ensures full compliance with OSHA standards, food safety requirements, local health regulations, and client‑specific protocols while leading hazard identification, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement initiatives. They provide clear, effective training and safety communication, conduct inspections and reporting, and maintain operational readiness across all service lines. The role also oversees the refinement and enforcement of safety policies related to occupational health, environmental controls, and regulatory programs such as LOTO, confined space, asbestos and lead management, GHS, fall prevention, and stormwater compliance—ensuring a safe, compliant, and high‑performing workplace

Requirements

  • A proven ability to lead safety excellence in complex, high‑risk environments with a proactive, prevention‑focused mindset.
  • Deep knowledge of OSHA standards, food safety protocols, local health regulations, and industry‑specific safety requirements.
  • Strong capability in hazard identification, risk assessment, and implementing corrective and preventive actions that drive measurable improvement.
  • Experience delivering effective safety training, communication, and engagement that builds team capability and reinforces safe behaviors.
  • Demonstrated skill in conducting inspections, audits, reporting, and compliance reviews with accuracy and operational awareness.
  • Expertise in developing, refining, and enforcing safety policies related to occupational health, environmental controls, and regulatory programs.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experienceMinimum Management Experience - 5 yearsMinimum Functional Experience – 3 years
