Mary Bridge Children’s multi-disciplinary approach to care includes pediatric experts for emergency services, inpatient care, and outpatient specialty clinics, all specializing in kids and their unique needs. FTE: 0.6 Shift: Evenings Schedule: Evening shift hours,14:00-22:30 Position Summary The Unit Resource Assistant is an ideal opportunity in supporting department-wide comprehensive patient health care. Working in collaboration with the nursing staff, you will be engaged in a dynamic range of work responsibilities and functions, ensuring the efficient management of the unit and the best possible health care outcomes.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred
  • Recent experience in a health care environment
  • Certification as a nurse assistant preferred

Responsibilities

  • You will support the units with proper setup, standardized equipment and supplies
  • You will thoroughly clean, maintain, and store all equipment
  • You will apply discretion, good judgment, and a professional manner to all work experiences
  • You will regularly utilize independent decision-making capacities and strong interpersonal skills
  • You will transport specimens to the lab and retrieve blood products from Transfusion Services
