Where Kids and Families are Always First MultiCare Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital is the state-designated Level II Pediatric Trauma Center and the only pediatric hospital in Washington’s South Sound Region dedicated to a comprehensive network of health services for children and adolescents. Mary Bridge Children’s multi-disciplinary approach to care includes pediatric experts for emergency services, inpatient care, and outpatient specialty clinics, all specializing in kids and their unique needs. FTE: 0.6 Shift: Evenings Schedule: Evening shift hours,14:00-22:30 Position Summary The Unit Resource Assistant is an ideal opportunity in supporting department-wide comprehensive patient health care. Working in collaboration with the nursing staff, you will be engaged in a dynamic range of work responsibilities and functions, ensuring the efficient management of the unit and the best possible health care outcomes.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- Recent experience in a health care environment
- Certification as a nurse assistant preferred
Responsibilities
- You will support the units with proper setup, standardized equipment and supplies
- You will thoroughly clean, maintain, and store all equipment
- You will apply discretion, good judgment, and a professional manner to all work experiences
- You will regularly utilize independent decision-making capacities and strong interpersonal skills
- You will transport specimens to the lab and retrieve blood products from Transfusion Services
