The Unit Manager at Walnut Cove Health and Rehabilitation Center plays a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care while fostering a supportive and collaborative environment. The Unit Manager will work closely with the Nurse Supervisor and Charge Nurse to maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations governing medical records and patient care. This role requires a proactive approach to managing daily operations, ensuring that all medical and administrative information is accurately recorded and maintained. In addition to overseeing the documentation processes, the Unit Manager will be responsible for maintaining the Daily Census Report and communicating effectively with residents and their families regarding any changes in their conditions. The position also involves admitting, transferring, and discharging residents, which includes coordinating transportation and ensuring that all necessary records are completed accurately. The Unit Manager will be expected to contribute to the continuous improvement of healthcare delivery by implementing innovative ideas and concepts that enhance operational efficiency and patient outcomes.
