About The Position
Our Lady of Consolation is a proud member of Catholic Health and a recognized leader in providing exceptional quality driven care. We offer Long Term, Post-Acute and Skilled Nursing services. Our Lady of Consolation is located on the beautiful Great South Bay and is comprised of a 345-bed nursing and rehabilitative care center. Our nurses, physicians and support staff are devoted to providing patient driven health care in an environment of compassion to our patients, their families and our community. Our focus is to create a culture of healing and safety while upholding our religious mission. The Nurse Manager’s primary responsibility is to oversee the rendering of care treatment and services provided to patients/residents within their assigned unit/units. This position is part of the facility leadership team.
Requirements
- NYS Registered Nurse license
Responsibilities
- oversee the rendering of care treatment and services provided to patients/residents within their assigned unit/units
- act as leader, educator and clinical assessor for patients/residents and staff assigned
- Assess plan, implement and ensure appropriate staffing and allocation of nursing care related to patient/resident acuity and care needs
- Ensure that competent staff provides appropriate, timely, efficacious care
