About The Position

Hickory Creek at Madison is hiring a full-time Unit Manager - RN for day shifts. This role offers a personal and connected environment, providing more time for thoughtful care and interaction with patients. The Unit Manager is responsible and accountable for the nursing care of all residents on their assigned unit, supervising licensed nurses and other nursing personnel. The manager ensures care delivery aligns with company philosophy, professional nursing standards, and all federal and state regulations. Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Indiana RN license or ability to obtain an Indiana license
  • Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values (Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence) to residents, family members, customers and staff
  • Supportive Presence: Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents
  • Detail Oriented: Ability to use clinical knowledge to exceed the needs of the residents, resident families and staff
  • Collaboration: Promote communication and interdisciplinary approaches to resident care

Nice To Haves

  • Management experience or willingness and desire to learn proper approaches to managing staff
  • Passion for teaching, leading and mentoring staff

Responsibilities

  • Assume responsibility and accountability for the nursing care of all residents on the assigned unit
  • Supervise licensed nurses and other nursing personnel in the delivery of care
  • Manage unit in accordance with company philosophy, standards of professional nursing practices, and all federal and state laws and regulations
