RN Unit Manager – Long-Term Care Katherine Luther Residential Care and Rehabilitation | Clinton, NY Katherine Luther is a faith-based, non-profit skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Clinton, NY. We’ve been part of this community for decades, and we operate differently than a corporate chain. Our mission is straightforward: high-quality care for people who need it, many of whom have modest means. That shapes everything we do. We’re looking for an RN Unit Manager to lead a 40-bed long-term care neighborhood. This is a hands-on leadership role. You’ll be the clinical anchor for your unit, the person your CNAs and LPNs look to, and the point of contact for residents and families who need answers. Requirements
- Active NYS RN license in good standing
- At least 2 years of nursing experience, with some supervisory or charge nurse background preferred
- Someone who leads by being present, not from behind a desk
- Genuine commitment to person-centered, dignified care
Nice To Haves
- Long-term care experience is a strong plus
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day clinical operations on a 40-bed long-term care unit
- Supervise and support nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs) on your unit
- Lead care planning and ensure each resident’s needs are being met and documented
- Collaborate with therapy, social work, dietary, and other departments
- Participate in occasional weekend supervisory coverage on a rotating basis.
- Partner with leadership on quality improvement and regulatory compliance
