About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to serve as a Unit Manager in our 120-bed Skilled Nursing Facility. This leadership role works under the direct supervision of the Director of Nursing and focuses on overseeing the care and operations of a 60-bed short-term rehabilitation unit. The ideal candidate will be an experienced nurse leader who is passionate about providing exceptional care while supporting staff, residents, and families. This position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of care. This is a salaried leadership position with a schedule of 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a LTC or Skilled Rehab Nurse or similar role
• Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work in a multidisciplinary team
• Familiarity with Infection Control practices and Covid related processes
• Knowledge in Federal and State regulations pertaining to LTC facilities in the state of Florida
• Understanding of Quality Measures and Best Practices
• Knowledge of 5-Star quality ratings
• Excellent knowledge of medical and hospital terminology
• Good knowledge of Point Click Care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and able to handle stress
• Ability to assess changes in condition to avoid rehospitalizations of residents
• LPN (Required)
• RN License (Required)
• IV Certification (Required)
