About The Position

Unit Manager LPN/ RN Ridgecrest Health and Rehabilitation Center is looking for an RN (Registered Nurse) or LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) to join our team as the Unit Manager! ABOUT RIDGECREST HEALTH & REHAB CENTER- Located in Deland, FL, we are a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility that is dedicated to helping our residents maximize their potential and live their lives to the fullest. Requirements

  • Registered Nurse with current Florida state license or Licensed Practical Nurse license
  • A minimum two years of nursing experience in long term care.
  • Must have a current/active CPR certification.
  • Function independently, and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with employees and vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Complete assessments of residents at admission and discharge.
  • Supervise nursing staff assigned.
  • Document services rendered to residents for billing purposes.
  • Make daily rounds to monitor resident care and status of residents.
  • Implement established nursing policies and procedures, educating nursing support staff according to facility guidelines.
  • Assign duties to LPNs and nursing assistants.
  • Other special projects and duties, as assigned.
  • Attend resident care conference meetings and provide follow-up as needed.
  • Manage the unit to ensure that the resident's clinical and care needs are being met.
