Unit Manager – LPN (Long Term Care Unit) & (Memory Care Unit) Carriage Hill Health & Rehab Center, in Fredericksburg, VA is looking for an energetic, compassionate, and dedicated full time LPN Unit Manager to join our team. Requirements
- Current LPN license in good standing with the Virginia Department of Health Professions
- CPR Certified
- Exceptional leadership, clinical and customer service skills
- Strong commitment to resident centered care and innovative care delivery
- Ability to motivate, build caring relationships, and communicate effectively
- A caring heart with a strong desire to make a difference in our patients’ lives
Nice To Haves
- Previous managerial experience (preferred)
- Experience in Long-Term Care/Skilled Rehab/Memory Care preferred
Responsibilities
- Coordinate, manage and evaluate resident care and unit operations
- Monitor timely, concise documentation of resident care in EMR
- Provide pertinent information regarding resident care to physicians when making rounds
- Evaluate staff performance and oversight of direct care performance
- Assure compliance with principles of infection control and universal precautions
