About The Position
As a Unit Manager - LPN at Mountain Ridge Center, you will play a crucial role in delivering compliant, high-quality, and cost-effective healthcare services. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure positive clinical outcomes while maintaining patient, family, and employee satisfaction within your assigned unit. You will collaborate closely with the Director of Nursing to ensure adequate nursing coverage, which is essential for providing safe and effective nursing care. This position requires a strong commitment to the well-being of both patients and staff, as you will provide professional guidance and supervision to non-professional unit staff, fostering a supportive and educational environment. In this role, you will also be responsible for identifying the educational needs of your staff and developing appropriate training programs in collaboration with the Nurse Educator. Medication management will be a key aspect of your duties, ensuring that all medications are handled according to company policy and that adequate supplies are maintained. Additionally, you will provide direct patient care alongside other unit nurses, which will help you maintain your clinical skills and ensure that you are actively involved in the care of your patients.
