About The Position

To further the mission of the camp by providing leadership, supervision, and support for a designated group of campers and counselors. This position involves planning, coordinating, and delivering safe, fun, and age-appropriate activities while creating a positive and inclusive camp environment. The Unit Leader ensures the well-being and safety of all campers and staff in their unit, oversees daily schedules, and manages unit operations in compliance with GSNENY, New York State Department of Health, and American Camp Association standards in all aspects of their role.

Requirements

At least 18 years old by June 27, 2026
Ability to interact positively with youth ages 7 to 17
Ability to build and maintain positive professional work relationships.

Nice To Haves

Prior youth-focused work or volunteer experience preferred.
