We're looking for passionate Unit ers interested in pursuing a path towards a Nurse Aide Certification to help us with providing nursing care and services for residents, that include personal and restorative care and activities of daily living. Journey begins as a Unit er assisting Nurses and Certified Nurse Aides with tasks that do not involve personal care. Assisting with bed making, answering call lights, refilling water, and beverage containers, transporting residents within the facility. Followingpletion of Certified Nurse Aide Training Program, Unit er is promoted to Nurse Aide (up to 120 days), providing nursing care and services for residents, that include personal and restorative care and activities of daily living. 120 day period will allow Nurse Aides to pass Prometric exam. Upon passing Prometric exam, Ohana Certified Nurse Aides (CNAs) will continue their journey orienting residents to the unit and facility: Bathroom, call system, shower schedule, and lanaimon areas; introduces residents at table; informs of meal schedule and snack times; and informs of activity calendar and w activities are held. Certified Nurse Aides (CNAs) respond to resident calls, call bells, call lights, alarms immediately. Responds to family requests immediately. Informs Charge Nurse when required.
