About The Position
Unit Coordinator Department: Courtyard East – this unit at our Chelsea hospital cares for Medical-Surgical patients as well as Chronic Head Pain patients. This unit has 42 beds and specializes in surgical post-operative care, telemetry, stroke, chronic pain management and patient education. The Unit Coordinator/Secretary is responsible for a variety of activities involving clerical support, obtaining requested medical records by the medical team, and providing support to patients and staff in the unit
Requirements
- Minimum of high school education
- Every other weekend rotation required
Nice To Haves
- Recent unit secretary experience preferred
- Medical terminology preferred
