Job Summary The Opportunity: Unit Coordinator | Orthopaedics-White 6 White 6 is a 30-bed unit with the clinical specialty being orthopaedics and Oral Maxillofacial/Medical. The population of patients includes elective total joint replacement, trauma, and orthopedic oncology. High School diploma or GED required
Must have at least 1 year of customer service experience
Computer skills necessary (word, excel, and ability to learn MGH systems)

Responsibilities

As a Unit Coordinator, you will play a critical role in patient care by serving as the central source of information by communicating with patients, families, and medical staff.
You will transcribe medical charts for patients to ensure that all their medical treatments and procedures are carried out.
