About The Position

The Unit Coordinator/PAC coordinates the activities of the nursing staff, the patients, the physicians, other hospital departments, and visitors within the Parent Child Division. He/she performs multiple tasks necessary to register patients, performs general receptionist and clerical duties in order to facilitate efficient functioning of the nursing unit, and provides excellent customer service.

Requirements

  • Minimum Education - Preferred High School Diploma/GED preferred, Associate’s Degree in Business preferred
  • Minimum Work Experience Equivalent of three (3) years’ experience in business operations or office management
  • Required additional Knowledge, and Abilities Ability to communicate effectively and document information accurately. Ability to deal efficiently and effectively with a wide variety of individuals. Demonstrated competency in word processing and spreadsheet software
  • Technical knowledge base of PCs and telecommunications preferred
  • Technical knowledge of electronic medical record systems preferred
  • Must be flexible with schedule.
  • Must be able to work M-F including weekends 6a-6p and 6p-6a.
