Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least one (1) year experience in a clerical position

Nice To Haves

  • Front Office Medical Assistant and/or Unit Clerk experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Health Information Manager in their day-to-day auditing, recording and charting of medical or administrative information.
  • Assure that the established processes are in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern medical records, and as may be required by the Health Information Manager.
  • Organize and maintain nurses’ station areas and ensure Infection Control policies are followed.
