Helmerich Women’s Health Center, Kaiser Rehabilitation Center, the latest technology for the treatment of cancer, and the Oklahoma Heart Institute. Individuals in this role are responsible for greeting and directing patients, visitors, and physicians, demonstrating good telephone skills, processing forms, scheduling procedures, inputting and working on the CRT, and coordinating the desk area of the patient care unit. The position also involves various off-unit activities, attending staff meetings, checking routine supplies and equipment, coordinating repair and maintenance, order entry via CRT, general office duties, phone coordination, and providing outstanding customer service.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED

Responsibilities

Greeting and directing patients, visitors and physicians upon their arrival to the department
Demonstrate good telephone skills and assist others in a courteous manner, following up on caller's needs
Process proper forms
Schedule procedures
Input and work on the CRT
Coordinate the desk area of the patient care unit
Perform various off unit activities
Attend staff meetings
Check routine supplies and equipment
Coordinate the repair and maintenance of equipment
Order entry via the CRT for all physician's orders on patients
Perform general office duties for the unit
Coordinate phone communications
Convey overall outstanding customer service
