In this role, you will coordinate appointments and perform general clerical duties at the unit nursing station to assure the timely, efficient and accurate flow of patient information; welcome and direct visitors and hospital colleagues to appropriate areas; and page nurses and answer phones on your unit. This is a part time , night shift position at New York-Presbyterian/Lower Manhattan Hospital. weekend and Holiday requirement .
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of previous clerical experience in a hospital
- Computer literacy a must
- knowledge of medical terminology
