Responsibilities

• welcoming all visitors appropriately assisting them with non-clinical inquiries, information and direction as needed
• answering phone calls and directing them appropriately
• maintaining accurate and up-to-date resident records, including admissions, discharges, and transfers, ensuring all documentation is complete and organized
• assuring adequate supplies are available to provide quality care to residents
• retrieving and filling medical records and documents as needed
• coordinating communication between residents, families, nursing staff and other members of the healthcare team relaying information promptly and accurately
• coordinating resident appointments and schedules with healthcare professionals when needed
• assisting in the admissions and discharge process by collecting necessary documentation and ensuring a smooth transition
• assisting during emergency situations by communicating with appropriate team members and providing support as needed
• following all guidelines related to confidentiality and HIPAA
• following protocols and procedures for administrative duties, ensuring efficient unit operations
• performing other duties to support the effective operations of the healthcare center
